Jungkook Quietly Watched RIIZE and RESCENE at Spotify House Seoul: Then Posted 12 Seconds of Each
Spotify House Seoul 2026 opened on the 10th with performances from RIIZE, RESCENE, Yves, and Diplo. BTS's Jungkook was spotted in the crowd and later shared equal 12-second clips of both junior groups.

BTS's Jungkook attended the opening night of Spotify House Seoul 2026 on the 10th and, in a gesture that fans found characteristically thoughtful, posted exactly 12 seconds of footage each for RIIZE and RESCENE after watching both groups perform. The two brief clips, distributed with the same careful symmetry, quickly circulated across fan communities as a small but legible display of support for his labelmates.

The event itself, held at Anderson.C in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, opened under an "Electronic & K-pop" theme and packed four acts into its first night. Solo artist Yves (formerly of LOONA) kicked things off with a tight 10-song set that included "Nail," "Viola," and "Loop," wrapping the evening with enough energy that she stepped off the stage and into the crowd to take selfies directly on fans' phones.

RIIZE and RESCENE up close
RESCENE followed, opening with "Pretty Girl" and prompting a full-crowd singalong within the first chorus. The group had prepared deep-cut album tracks specifically for the occasion, working through "LOVE ATTACK," "Deja Vu," and "New World" across a roughly 30-minute set. The intimate scale of Anderson.C, a small venue by design, put the group close enough to the audience that the back-and-forth between stage and crowd felt genuinely conversational.

RIIZE brought a different kind of electricity. Phones came out the moment the group appeared, and light sticks dotted the floor as they opened with their debut track "Get A Guitar." The set moved through "Impossible" before closing on "Do Your Dance," the performance piece of the night: when the final note landed, the applause was immediate. RIIZE's member Shotaro noted afterward that performing on a stage this close to the audience was something he hadn't experienced in a while, and that he loved seeing people dancing along. The group also acknowledged their history with Spotify directly, noting that they became the first K-pop boy group selected for Spotify's global Radar Artist program back in 2024.
Jungkook, who was in the audience for both sets, had a pre-existing connection to headliner Diplo through BTS's fifth full-length album project ARIRANG. The two exchanged a brief greeting at the venue.

Diplo closes the night
Diplo spent his hour-long closing set leaning into his K-pop production credits, spinning new versions of tracks he worked on: "Body to Body" from ARIRANG, BLACKPINK's "JUMP," and Jennie's "like JENNIE" among them. The EDM-heavy set shifted the room's energy, with the audience dancing in whatever way suited them. RESCENE made a surprise return to the stage midway through to perform a short collaborative segment with Diplo, one of the cleaner unexpected moments of the night.

What's ahead
Spotify House Seoul continues through the 13th. On the 11th, the theme shifts to indie rock, with Jannabi, Hyukoh, Silica Gel, KARDI, and can't be blue taking the stage. Dancer Honey J is also leading a dance class tied to a new Spotify Singles track called "ROOTS" that afternoon.
The 12th goes to hip-hop, with Tiger JK, Lil Moshpit, Dynamic Duo, The Quiett, HAON, CAMO, NOWIMYOUNG, and Raf Sandou all performing. That night will also mark the first live performance of "ROOTS" as a full generational hip-hop project, alongside the premiere of the official music video. The festival closes on the 13th with immersive installation work and interactive programming rather than a traditional live set.
