Liar: Seo Hyun-jin Breaks Into Yoo Yeon-seok's Home After Polygraph Setback
MBC's Liar released stills of Kang Ji-seon sneaking into Min Jun-ho's home ahead of episode 3. The break-in follows a polygraph test that left her cornered in an assault dispute.

MBC's Friday-Saturday drama Liar released stills on the 6th, ahead of episode 3, showing Kang Ji-seon (Seo Hyun-jin) hiding inside the home of Min Jun-ho (Yoo Yeon-seok). The episode airs at 9:50 p.m. the same day.
The scene arrives after a polygraph examination that many viewers may have expected to settle the sexual assault allegation at the center of the series. Instead, the result pushed Kang Ji-seon to the edge, and the two leads are again in a volatile standoff. For years, Korean dramas built around contested accounts have used a mid-run escalation like this to keep the question of who is lying open past the first few episodes.

What the stills show
In the released images, Min Jun-ho opens his front door with a suspicious look. His face has stiffened, as if he senses something is off inside, and his wariness is plain. Kang Ji-seon, by contrast, is already in the house, covered in dark clothing and a hat. Startled by a sound, she presses herself flat against a wall and holds her breath.
According to the production team, the scene shows a woman driven by the polygraph outcome to prove her claim, and a man who comes home unaware. The two situations are cut against each other to build tension. What Kang Ji-seon is looking for in his home, and whether Min Jun-ho will notice her, is left unanswered in the material released so far.
Where the story stands
Earlier episodes followed a sweet first date between the two that turned, the next day, into a report of sexual assault. Since then, they have given opposite accounts of what happened that night, and the dispute has become a contest of claims.
The production team said in a statement: "In episode 3, the battle over the truth between Min Jun-ho and Kang Ji-seon begins in earnest, and the psychological warfare between them intensifies. The tension and immersion of the drama will rise accordingly."
