Suzy blew out the candles on a cake nearly half her size in Morocco, and fans got to see it almost a month later. On the 6th, the singer and actress posted a set of photos to her social media captioned simply "last birthday," showing how she spent her birthday on October 10.

In the opening shot she wears her hair long with natural curls, hands pressed together as she makes a wish in front of the oversized cake. The mood is soft and a little shy, which fits the "pure" look Korean media tend to associate with her.

The gifts got attention too. Suzy showed presents from several brands, including a luxury label she currently serves as an ambassador for, and the sheer volume of boxes made the scale of the day hard to miss.

A birthday on the set of her Netflix series

The warmest part of the post came from the crew of The Men of the Harem, the Netflix series she is currently filming. Suzy shared handwritten letters she received from staff members, along with photos of her surrounded by them as they sang and she blew out the candles. The set's friendly atmosphere comes through clearly in the pictures.

Actresses Ahn Eun-jin and Han Ga-in liked the post. Fans filled the comments with lines such as "a princess who is so loved," "happy belated birthday," and "I hope everything goes well for you," and one wrote that she looked "so pretty it drives me crazy."

Her name in the news for another reason

Suzy also drew headlines recently for reportedly signing a purchase contract for a unit at Lavre 27, a luxury residence under construction in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul. Reports put prices at a minimum of 14 billion won and a maximum in the 40 billion won range. Actors Shin Se-kyung and Jang Keun-suk, BLACKPINK's Jisoo and broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon are also reported to have bought homes there.

On the work front, Suzy has the Disney+ series Delusion (title as rendered from the Korean) coming up, and she is in the middle of shooting The Men of the Harem for Netflix.
