Nine members of THE BOYZ have a new label. Seveneight Records, a newly incorporated company, announced on the 14th that it will handle group activities for Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric.

New is the one member not included. His individual circumstances were not detailed in the announcement, but the arrangement is structured so that personal solo activities remain under each member's own separate agencies. Seveneight Records takes on group management only.

The backdrop here is ugly. THE BOYZ signed with One Hundred Label in 2024, then moved to terminate that contract earlier this year, citing unpaid settlement money as the primary reason. In April, a Seoul court granted their petition to suspend the contract's effectiveness, functionally severing the relationship while legal proceedings continued. That ruling cleared the path for today's move.

A label built for them

Seveneight Records isn't a random landing spot. According to the company, it was founded specifically by industry insiders who have worked alongside THE BOYZ members since their debut days. The label completed its corporate registration recently and THE BOYZ's group management is its opening act.

The setup is intentionally lean. Rather than signing members away from their individual agencies, Seveneight Records functions as a group-activity coordinator, which sidesteps the kind of contractual gridlock that apparently tangled them up with One Hundred Label in the first place. Whether that structure holds long-term is a question the group hasn't had to answer yet. For now, they're moving.
