TVXQ's U-Know Yunho opened his first-ever solo concert on July 17 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, 23 years after debuting in 2003, making him one of the longest-tenured acts in K-pop to hold out this long before taking a stage entirely his own.

The three-night concert series, titled U-KNOW PROJECT 26: SCENE#1, runs through July 19 under SM Entertainment. Across the run, Yunho is also unveiling the first live performance of his new single Time's Tickin', which releases officially on July 20.

The concept, as Yunho described it through SM, is an encounter between past and future selves: "Young Yunho" appearing onstage to meet the man he has become. "I wanted to tell the story of my past and present through the coordinates of time," he said. "This is a performance that combines concert, musical, drama, and film, everything I've experienced in my career, into a single genre."

Yunho traced the idea back further than fans might expect. He began planning a solo concert during his mandatory military service between 2015 and 2017, but deliberately held off even as opportunities arose. "I thought it required the right amount of experience and ability to tell my own story on a stage," he said. "There were many chances before this, but I wasn't ready."

The decade-long wait, by his own account, was deliberate. "Now felt like the right time to put everything I've lived and felt onto the stage properly," he said, adding: "Thank you for always waiting. From here, I'm taking off."

His stated mix of concert, musical, and film elements is consistent with how he has built his solo profile over the years, through acting credits and stage work alongside his TVXQ commitments, and the three-night venue choice signals real confidence in the fanbase turnout. Jamsil Indoor Stadium seats roughly 12,000 per night. If the run sells through, that's a meaningful opening number for a first solo outing at this scale.

The single Time's Tickin' arrives July 20, one day after the concert closes. Circle the release date: for an artist making his solo concert debut at year 23, the timing is designed to extend the momentum past the final curtain call.
