BABYMONSTER's 'DRIP' music video crossed 400 million YouTube views on the 22nd at approximately 1:53 p.m. KST, roughly one year and nine months after its release on November 1, 2024. The milestone makes 'DRIP' the group's second video to reach that mark, following their debut track 'SHEESH,' which crossed 400 million views earlier.

YG Entertainment confirmed the numbers, noting that BABYMONSTER now has a total of 17 videos with at least 100 million views each. As title tracks go, 'DRIP' is a fitting one to carry the group's first full-length album: the track leans into a harder, more assertive sound than some of their earlier releases, and the music video's choreography gave fans plenty to dissect in the months after launch.

Their YouTube channel is moving quickly on other fronts too. Subscriber count crossed 13 million on the 21st, and cumulative channel views currently sit at approximately 9.89 billion, putting the 10-billion mark within reach in the near term.

All of this is building toward a particularly significant stretch of the calendar. BABYMONSTER is currently in the middle of their second world tour, CHOOM, and on September 22 and 23, they will perform at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan for the first time since debuting. Dome shows are a meaningful threshold in the K-pop touring world, and this will be BABYMONSTER's first. From there, the tour extends across five continents.

For a group that debuted in 2023, the pace of these numbers is hard to argue with.
