CLOSE YOUR EYES Top a 3-Song Intro List, and Fans Want an Award

A three-song X post ranking the "intro of the year" for boy groups is racking up retweets, and the first pick is not from a big-name act. CLOSE YOUR EYES' Open Your Eyes sits at the top, ahead of CORTIS' RED RED and TXT's Setsuna Hanabi.

The post came from X user @deepdarkvlue on October 25, 2026, under the line "The intro of the year, boy group edition." It was reposted to theqoo, where the reaction went somewhere the list itself didn't.

Most commenters skipped the intro debate. They said the entire track holds up, and several described clicking in casually and getting hooked. One called out a jazz feel. Another wants the song to pick up an award.

There was one pushback of sorts: a commenter said they would only accept the list if HYBE's artists were taken out. CORTIS and TXT both come from HYBE-affiliated labels, so the dig lands on two of the three picks.

The ranking is fan opinion, not a chart. Still, a smaller group topping two bigger names with the community nodding along is the kind of organic push labels can't buy.
