Lee Jae Shares Paris Photos With Sam Kim Ahead of November 7 Wedding

Singer-songwriter Lee Jae posted a set of Paris travel photos with his fiancée Sam Kim on the 31st, captioning the post simply "FR pt. 2", the second installment of what appears to be an ongoing pre-wedding European trip series on his social media.

The photos show the couple touring some of Paris's most recognizable landmarks, including the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower, where they posed for photos with the iconic iron lattice in the background. Other shots captured them relaxing in a park and striking affectionate poses in front of other visitors, looking every bit the couple weeks away from tying the knot.

Fans also noticed that Lee Jae appeared noticeably slimmer than in recent appearances, with many commenting that he seems to have leaned out ahead of the wedding ceremony.

The trip comes at a high point in Lee Jae's career. He composed and performed Golden, the theme song for the Netflix film K-Pop Demon Hunters, which took home Best Original Song at the 98th Academy Awards, a rare crossover moment for a Korean artist at Hollywood's biggest night.

Lee Jae and Sam Kim first crossed paths in 2017 during a songwriting session and got engaged in late 2023. Sam Kim is a Korean-American music producer, and the two have maintained a notably collaborative creative relationship alongside their personal one. Their wedding is set for November 7 at a golf course in Los Angeles owned by Lee Jae's mother, Shin Hye-jin, vice chairwoman of Seyoung Enterprise.

With an Oscar on the shelf and a November wedding on the calendar, Lee Jae is having a year that most artists would struggle to match. If early returns on the Paris posts are any indication, the couple's fanbase is already counting down the days.
