PLAVE Opens First World Tour at Stadium After 1.25M Album Sales Record

Virtual boy group PLAVE stepped onto a stadium stage for the first time today, opening their 2026 PLAVE World Tour: Keep It Manic across two nights at Incheon Munhak Main Stadium on the 12th and 13th. For a group that began life as animated avatars, performing in a venue of this scale is a tangible marker of how far their reach has grown.

The individual concept posters released ahead of the shows offered a preview of the visual direction: deep red backdrops with each member recreating the signature poses from their earliest debut footage, a callback that frames this tour as a full-circle moment rather than just a next step.

A tour that spans four continents

After the Incheon opener, PLAVE heads to Kanagawa, Japan on the 26th and 27th before working through Asia in October, with stops in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, and Macau. The run closes out on November 14th in Los Angeles, making it a genuinely global stretch for a group that, until recently, had never played outside Korea.

The choice of LA as the final date feels deliberate. It's the city where K-pop's international fanbase tends to concentrate, and closing a debut world tour there signals the kind of ambition that agency Blast has been building toward steadily.

The records that got them here

PLAVE's live milestones have been stacking up quickly. They were the first virtual group to perform at KSPO Dome and Gocheok Sky Dome, and they've landed number-one finishes on music show charts and the Melon Top 100. Their fourth mini-album Caligo Pt.2, released in April, pushed first-week sales past 1.25 million copies, a new career high that placed them firmly among Korea's top-tier acts.

The stadium run feels like a natural extension of that momentum.
