RIIZE Crack the US Top 40 Radio Chart With 'Do Your Dance'

RIIZE's 'Do Your Dance' has debuted at No. 40 on the US Mediabase Top 40 Radio Chart, making it the most-played K-pop track across roughly 130 American radio stations during the August 9–15 tracking period. The milestone marks the SM Entertainment group's first entry on the chart and adds a concrete crossover data point to a song that has already cleared 100 million TikTok views.

RIIZE's mini-album title track 'Do Your Dance' entered the US Mediabase Top 40 Radio Chart at No. 40 for the August 9–15 tracking period, landing the SM Entertainment group on one of North America's key mainstream airplay indicators for the first time.

During that same window, the song was the most-played K-pop track across approximately 130 US radio stations, according to data released by SM Entertainment on the 21st. The Mediabase Top 40 chart is compiled from broadcast data logged by major American radio stations, making it a reliable gauge of how far a song has actually penetrated mainstream listening rather than just streaming or fandom-driven platforms.

'Do Your Dance' was released in June as the lead single from RIIZE's second mini-album. The track caught favorable notices from Billboard and other US outlets shortly after release, and it has since accumulated more than 100 million views on TikTok, driven largely by short-form dance content on the platform. That kind of organic TikTok traction is the usual precursor to radio programmers testing a track, so the chart debut is not a surprise, but it is still the clearest proof yet that the song has an audience outside the core K-pop listener base.

The ceiling here depends on whether the radio push has legs. Debuting at No. 40 means programmers already see enough listener data to justify the slot; the question is whether the add count grows in coming weeks. Early returns on that front will show up in the next two or three Mediabase cycles.

Meanwhile, RIIZE has their next release lined up: the group's third Japanese single, 'Sunburst,' drops on the 26th.
