EVAN, formerly of ENHYPEN, moved more than 530,000 copies of his debut mini album Death of Me in its first week on sale, according to the Hanteo Chart sales tracker, a debut-week figure that puts him firmly in half-million-seller territory before most artists have finished their album rollout cycle.

The numbers broke fast. On release day alone, September 7, over 460,000 copies sold in a single day, landing Death of Me at the top of Hanteo's daily chart. By the third day, the album had already cleared the 500,000 mark. The final first-week count settled at 530,929 copies.

A debut week with international reach

The sales momentum wasn't limited to Korea. Death of Me charted in the top albums section on iTunes across 34 countries and regions, and climbed to No. 2 on Japan's Oricon daily album ranking on September 11. For a solo debut, that kind of simultaneous multi-market traction is a genuine signal of how well ENHYPEN's global fanbase translated into support for a member going it alone.

The title track performed well on streaming and download charts too. It reached No. 1 on the Bugs real-time chart in Korea and entered both the UK Official Singles Download and Singles Sales charts, a relatively rare achievement for a K-pop solo act making a first outing.

For EVAN, Death of Me is as strong a solo debut as a K-pop artist could reasonably hope for. The album's first-week figures put him in conversation with established solo acts, not just fellow rookies, and the cross-chart performance suggests the music is landing beyond the fanbase alone.
