Two New QWER Songs Debut Live, Then Go to a Fan Vote Before September 21 Release
QWER opened their second solo tour in Seoul on September 12-13, premiering two new songs live for the first time. The tracks release on all platforms on September 21, with a fan vote deciding which becomes the title song.

QWER opened their second solo tour this past weekend at Korea University's Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul's Seongbuk district, and they did not save the big moment for later. Two brand-new, previously unreleased songs, Sonyeonmanhwa (소년만화) and Picaresque, made their live debut across the September 12 and 13 shows, giving attendees a first look at the band's next chapter before anyone else.
Both tracks are part of an ongoing project called CHOOSE YOUR QWER, which has been building fan anticipation in the weeks leading up to the tour. The tour itself carries the suitably ambitious title ROCKATION : ROCKET LAUNCH!!, a name the band chose to reflect their goal of expanding their reach the way a rocket traces an ever-widening arc on its way out of the atmosphere.

The fan vote that decides everything
The two new songs will officially drop on all major streaming platforms on September 21 at 6 p.m. KST, but the campaign's most unusual detail is what happens next: whichever song collects more votes from fans will be designated the title track. The vote is live both online through QWER's official social media and, until September 13, at a listening pop-up held at The Hyundai Seoul's Heights Exchange in Yeouido. The participatory format turned out to be a strong draw on its own. Within just two days of launching, more than 10,000 people had already cast a vote online.
The pop-up itself was set up as an immersive listening space where visitors could hear both unreleased songs in full and vote on-site, with official tour merchandise also on display. It was a smart way to give fans who couldn't attend the Seoul concerts a stake in the outcome.

What the concerts delivered
The shows opened with PIONEER and moved through a set built around the band's strongest catalog, including Go Min-Jungdok (고민중독), Discord, and Nae Ireum Malkkeum (내 이름 맑음), all performed live with the full band setup that QWER has made their signature. The two new premieres came as a clear highlight of both nights, giving the live debut some genuine stakes beyond a standard tour opener.
After the shows, the band shared a message that landed warmly with the crowd: "We hope our music becomes a comfort to someone. Our fans are the pride of our lives."
With the Seoul dates wrapped, QWER will continue the ROCKATION : ROCKET LAUNCH!! tour through additional cities. The September 21 release and the fan vote result should give each remaining stop its own momentum.
