Girls' Generation, also known as 소녀시대, is an eight-member K-pop group that performs synth-pop and dance-pop. The group formed in Seoul, South Korea in 2007. Girls' Generation debuted under SM Entertainment, which manages and releases their music. The eight members are Seohyun, Sunny, Hyoyeon, Kwon Yu-ri, Choi Soo-young, Taeyeon, Lim Yoona, Tiffany Young, and Jessica Jung (past member). The group's fandom is called SONE.
